How to become a Member

INDUCTION DAYS

To join and before any training can commence it is compulsory that ALL new members

attend an Induction Class first, which is held inside our Clubrooms.

The Induction class is your first lesson and is a verbal introduction about the club,

our club rules  and dog training in general.

Induction class starts at 12.15pm sharp, so please ensure you get there on-time.

Late-comers will not be accepted.

After the induction talk, if you have decided to join our club, we'll get you to fill out an

application form, present your dog's current vaccination card and pay your memberships fees.

If you are a Dogs Victoria (or Victorian Canine Association) member you must bring your

current Dogs Victoria Membership card to be exempt from paying the insurance levy.

Training of your dog starts the following week.

WHAT'S REQUIRED

Dogs or Puppies are NOT required to attend the induction class.

The onus is on the handler to ensure that both the handler and their dog is fit and healthy

prior to participating in obedience, agility, tracking and/or other

disciplines conducted by this Club.

Please inform us if your dog has any aggression issues.

There is no training on Easter Saturday or Long-week-ends and we close down

for a summer break over December & January.

Members from another club also need to make a booking to join the club.

We usually train Rain or Shine - although training can be cancelled on the day at any time

depending on weather & ground conditions and we will implement our

Heat Policy when the weather is over 30 degrees celsius.

Currently we have time restricted training sessions when weather is between 30

and 34 degrees Celsius  and all training will be cancelled

when weather is 35 degrees or over.
