INDUCTION
DAYS
To
join and before any training can commence it is compulsory that ALL new members
attend an Induction Class
first, which is held inside our Clubrooms.
The Induction class is your
first lesson and is a verbal introduction about the club,
our club rules and dog training in
general.
Induction class starts at
12.15pm
sharp, so please ensure you get there on-time.
Late-comers
will not be accepted.
After the induction talk,
if you have decided to join our club, we'll get you to fill out an
application form, present your
dog's current vaccination card and pay your memberships fees.
If you are a Dogs Victoria
(or Victorian Canine Association) member you must bring your
current Dogs Victoria Membership
card to be exempt from paying the insurance levy.
Training of your dog starts the following week.
WHAT'S
REQUIRED
Dogs or Puppies are NOT required to
attend the induction class.
So please leave your dog home.
YOU MUST MAKE A BOOKING TO ATTEND THE INDUCTION CLASS.
Numbers
per month are limited - so book-in early.

THINGS
TO NOTE:
Induction days
are only conducted generally once a month on a designated day.
Check the monthly calendar
for induction dates.
We accept CASH OR
CHEQUE ONLY, we have NO eftpos/credit card facilities.
Membership Fees must be
paid
on the Induction day.
We cannot accept Children under the age of 7 years.
Membership is not transferable to another
person, family member or to another club.
If a family joins, ALL
members must do the induction.
The club's financial membership year is from 1st July to 30th June of each year.
Depending on when you join, everyone's membership expires on the 30th of June of
each year.
The onus is on the handler
to ensure that both the handler and their dog is fit and healthy
prior to participating in
obedience, agility, tracking and/or other
disciplines conducted by
this Club.
Please inform us if your dog has any
aggression issues.
There is no training on
Easter Saturday or Long-week-ends and we close down
for a summer break over December
& January.
Members from another club
also need to make a booking to join the club.
We usually train Rain or Shine -
although training can be cancelled on the day at any time
depending on weather & ground conditions and
we will implement our
Heat Policy when the weather is over 30 degrees celsius.
Currently we have time
restricted training sessions when weather is between 30
and 34 degrees Celsius and
all training will be cancelled
when weather is 35 degrees
or over. |
