SATURDAY FOUNDATION AGILITY TRAINING

 
Foundation Agility will be conducted from 11:00am to 12:00noon (Feb to Nov) on the first Saturday of the month.
Foundation Agility is open to dogs in class 2 and above.
There is no pre-requisite age for dogs (dogs will not be jumping or weaving in the foundation class).
Handlers must be over 7 years of age.
Dogs must be trained on a fixed or buckle collar.  No correction chains are to be worn.
Handlers will need to bring training treats and a motivational toy.
 
 
SATURDAY AGILITY TRAINING
 
Training is conducted on every Saturday of the month, commencing at 11:00am to 1:00pm (Feb to Nov).
Handler and dog must be in Class 3 or above and dog must be over 15 months old.
Please Note: Classes will be cancelled if instructors are not available or the weather or ground conditions are unsuitable for training.

SATURDAY RALLY INTRODUCTION TRAINING

 

Rally introduction is to be held on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 1:00pm to 2:00pm (Feb to Nov).
Rally introduction is open to all levels
Handlers must be over 7 years of age
Dogs can be trained on any type of collar
Handler’s please bring lots of treats and/or a motivational toy

You will be shown how to read the rally signs and in the process have a great time with your dog.  Learn what is necessary to trial your dog at this discipline.  There is no extra charge for rally introduction

 

SATURDAY RALLY OBEDIENCE TRAINING
Training is conducted on every Saturday of the month, commencing at 1:00pm to 4:30pm (Feb to Nov).
Three rings will be set up, one for each Novice, Advanced and Excellent courses.
Be a minimum of class 3. Handlers may apply to the clubs Chief Instructor if their dogs is in a class lower than 3.
The Novice ring must have an experienced person / instructor available to instruct / run through a Handler (as a Handler you must also make yourself available to run other Handlers through on the day).
The Advanced / Excellent rings are self-help and do not require an experienced person / instructor to run a Handler through the ring.
Note: Handlers are only permitted to use a maximum of two Rally courses on the day i.e. the current level they are competing in or aspiring to compete in and a class either higher or lower.
 

TUESDAY OBEDIENCE TRIAL TRAINING

 
Training is conducted every Tuesday Night during Feb, Mar, Oct and Nov and 1st, 3rd and 5th Tue during Apr to Sep.
Set-up at 6:00PM and Training Commences at 6:30PM.
You are welcome to participate if you have a dog that is currently trialing in CCD, Novice, Open, Utility or UDX or you are hoping to start competing in the trial ring soon.
You will be expected to either assist in set-up or pack-up of equipment, just like on Saturday's. Non participation will mean no training in the ring.
We hope to have both experienced handlers as well as aspiring judges there to assist.  These nights will run on a mutual assistance basis.
Note that the heat policy will be in force. Should the temperature exceed 35 degrees no training will commence until the temperature drops. The same applies if training is underway and the temperature exceeds 35 degrees, all training will stop until the temperature drops.
Training must conclude no later than 10:00 pm each Tuesday night.
 
 
WEDNESDAY AGILITY TRAINING
 
Training is conducted on every 1st, 3rd and 5th Wednesday evening of each month, commencing at 7.30pm through to 8.30pm.
Handler and dog must be in Class 3 or above and dog must be over 15 months old.

WEDNESDAY OBEDIENCE TRAINING
 
Training is conducted on every 2nd and 4th Wednesday evening of each month, commencing at 7.30pm through to 8.30pm.
Members who are in Classes 2 and above are permitted to attend.
NO PUPPY OR CLASS 1 can participate.

FUNDAYS
 
Judging begins at 1.00PM for all classes.
Entry forms and entry fees for Fundays are only taken two weeks prior to Funday dates.
Check-in time is from 12.30pm to 1.00pm.
Fundays are an all afternoon event so please stay for Presentations at the end of the day.
 
There is No Normal Obedience Training or Agility conducted on Fundays.
